A significant amount of time and energy has been devoted to creating and
maintaining the Alternative Media Gateway, as well as a growing amount of
financial resources.The the work that has been done an this site is the result
of dedication on the part of volunteers, and we are not trying to make a profit
off this Website.
However, there are costs associated with maintaining the site, such as web
hosting (which becomes more expensive as the site gets more traffic) and
occasional technical consulting costs for more advanced aspects of the site.
We are always interested in expanding the capabilites of the Alternative Media
Gateway, but we are dedicated to providing a commerical-free environement and
do not want the use advertising as a means of covering our costs.
